Temecula Valley Spring Cotillion 2011
Cotillion is designed to give young people practice and instruction in the daily courtesies that make life more pleasant for them and those around them. Emphasis is placed on etiquette, manners and character education, as well as on Ballroom dancing. The social and character components of the program include rules of proper introduction, answering a formal invitation, receiving lines, participating in a group setting, polite conversation, giving and receiving complements, dress code, table manners, formal place settings, styles of dining, writing and giving a toast, and many other areas of social behavior.
Cotillion consists of three workshops and culminates with a final
semi-formal dinner dance. We encourage an equal ratio of boys to girls, (for dancing) every effort will be made to accommodate all children.
